3-Card Poker
3-Card Poker contains two separate games, which are Ante and Play and Pair Plus, which are the competition between gambler and banker. To win the pot the player must get the three cards hand stronger than the dealer’s hand. In Ante and Raise (Play) game the player only bets whether he/she will form the poker hand better than the dealer has, the object of the PairPlus game is to obtain the pair or better. As the rules of poker state, when the dealer’s hand can not qualify the poker player receives 1 to 1 on the Ante wager and Raise (Play) is returned to the player. In case of the PairPlus the hands are not compared, the gambler is awarded according to the special Pair Plus payout table.
7-Card Stud Poker
This poker variation is played between up to 8 poker players and consists of five rounds of betting. At first the gamblers place Ante bet and are dealt three cards each, one of which is exposed. Two hidden cards are the ”pocket” or ”hole” cards and the one dealt face up is the “door” card. Now the players which are still in the game receive four cards more, one by one followed by the round of betting. As the rules of poker state first three cards are dealt face up and the last card is dealt face down. So, in total each player has seven cards, however, he or she has to use only five of them to form the best poker hand. In the showdown the hands are shown and compared. The player with the strongest poker hand wins the pot.
Hold'em Poker
Hold'em poker is the most recognized and popular game due to the simplicity of the rules of poker playing. It is played using the traditional 52 cards deck with from 2 to 10 persons. The game in fact has four rounds the first of which begins after the blind bets are placed. The first gambler close to the button posts the small blind and the second poker player - the big blind. Usually the big blind size is equal to the lowest betting amount determined by game rules while the small blind is the half of the big blind. The players receive two face down cards that is followed by round of betting. The five face up community cards occur on the table, first three of them (known as flop) appear and then other two cards one after another (known as turn and river) followed by the round of betting each. During betting the poker players may choose betting options to call, raise, fold, check or bet depending on their desire and the previous players’ actions. According to the rules of poker each round of betting is completed when all active players have contributed the equal amount to the pot. At the end in the showdown the hands are revealed and the hands are evaluated. The gambler may use any number of two pocket cards and five community cards to create the hand. The gambler that holds the strongest hand receives the pot. In case of the ties the pot is divided.
Omaha Poker
Omaha poker is one of the most popular poker versions due to its similarity with the Texas Hold'em. The rules of poker Omaha are quite simple and they are different from the Hold’em rules in several aspects. The major difference is that in Omaha poker the gamblers after the blind bets posting are given four hole or pocket cards each. Then five face up community cards appear on the board followed by betting round each. In the showdown all active gamblers shows the hands. Unlike Texas Hold’em in Omaha the player has to use two of their pocket cards together with three community cards to form the poker hands. It is one more difference of Omaha poker. In Omaha poker as in Texas Holdem the standard hand ranks are used.
